There's a red chambers on ebay that looks like it's going to go for a low price. One day left and only up to $100.00. Comes with some accessories too. Curious to see if bidding wars will take place towards the end.

I've been watching that one. I could use one of the side panels. I'm in Illinois and it would cost me over $550.00 to ship it and I just bought my first one about amonth ago. I'm already telling my husband we should at least get if for parts! Besides, the pot alone is worth it. Drooling, drooling, drooling. Oh, how easily I've been converted and I haven't even cooked on it yet.

Oh, I've been watching that one too. Sandy, Utah is only about 1/2 hour away from my mom in Salt Lake. And wouldn't she be happy if I stopped by for xmas after picking up that shiny red Chambers! But, I'm using my will power and repeating frequently (I don't need another stove, I don't need another stove....). Plus, I really don't want to go to SLC for xmas.
But, if someone from the board wants to get it and the seller will meet me in Moab, Utah, I would pick it up for you there (that's only about 2 hours away vs 6 for Sandy). After that, who knows how you'd get it. Let me know if you want to figure something out.

Hey guys,
Was anyone keeping track of the red chambers on ebay. I forgot about it and didn't write down the item #. How much did it end up going for? Just curious.

One of these days if I get a red one I'll name it boomer or sooner or big red.
You can always look in completed to see if an item sold.
Looking forward to those yummy menu items of yours.

Ron,
Thanks for the red chambers update. Not a bad price for a red one.
Recipes will be coming. I've got the week off between Christmas and New Years so I'll have time to experiment.
A word to all - a crock pot cookbook is a great one to get. A lot of those recipes are so easily adaptable to the Thermowell.( low heat, long cooking time)
